Here you can find information on upcoming events, refereeing, rules & regulations and news related to underwater hockey in South Africa. SAUWHF is a voluntary body responsible for the pursuance of all physical sporting matters related to underwater hockey.
Tournaments
South African Underwater Hockey Federation hosts three major tournaments annually; Junior Nationals which is held in March, Senior Nationals which is held either May or June and , Inter-Clubs which is held at the beginning of December. A fourth tournament, hosted by PlaySport, is the UPL – Underwater hockey Premier League has made its way on the SAUWHF calendar as an annual event.

Choose your membership
Being affiliated to SAUWHF is compulsory for all members who wish to compete in any competition hosted by or affiliated with the federation. A compulsory indemnity form will be required upon sign-up or renewal which will automatically appear when you choose your membership. You cannot be selected for play in any tournament unless you have registered through this site; so don’t delay, register today!

How do I reset my forgotten password?
After trying to log in with your email, click on “forgot password – Click here,” and you should receive an email with a link to reset your password.
How do I renew more than one membership if I have more than one child attending Junior Nationals?
Every player must have their own profile linked to an email. Please do not pay for multiple junior memberships from 1 account. This is the only way for a coach to identify every player and add them to their team.
How can I check if my membership has expired or not?
From the Homepage, click on the “Member Area” button. This will direct you to your account details – scroll down to find your current membership (s) at the bottom of the page, along with their expiry dates.
Where can I find contact details for a club?
From the Homepage, use the “More” button and the dropdown option – click on “Play UWH” and follow the “Clubs” tab for a list of underwater hockey clubs in your area.
Who can I contact for junior queries?
From the Homepage, use the “More” button and the dropdown option – click on “About”. Choose “Management” and scroll down to find the SAUHWF Junior Executive Team e-mail contact list.
