Zoë Naudé started playing underwater hockey at Orca Club since the very young age of 8. She says that her father has had the most influence and been inspirational in her underwater hockey career. Zoë grew and developed her underwater hockey at Christ Church, but now playing for NUC, Zoë has represented Gauteng Province for four years at Junior Nationals and was Captain of this year’s U19 ladies team being the proud recipients of the Gold Medal.
Zoë’s acknowledges her proudest moment and highest achievement in underwater hockey was being selected to represent South Africa at the 5th CMAS Hockey World Championship Junior Age Group in Sheffield, UK in 2019.
Adding to this achievement is the “Player of the Tournament 2021” awarded to Zoë for her outstanding performance in underwater hockey.
We congratulate Zoë on these wonderful achievements in this exhilarating sport and trust that this is only the beginning of a wonderful underwater hockey career.
